Invited by a friend, my husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time and were impressed by the freshly cooked, crispy dishes. The use of fresh oil was noticeable in the delicious meal we had - I enjoyed the broiled cod and calamari, while my husband opted for the fish and chips. Without hesitation, we highly recommend this place to others.
Visiting friends and they took us to Oscar's Pier 83, we are so glad they did. We are from South Orange County California and we eat a lot of sea food and this is some of the best we have had. I had the fish and chips special and added 2 fried shrimp absolutely delicious!!! The fish and shrimp fried perfectly and so flavorful, fries were great too. Hubby got the cod big taco special and loved it! Wonderful customer service, wonderful food!
Good service. Good food. Good atmosphere. Counter service, table service or sit at the bar. It's a laid back, loud and fun vibe. The fish entrees we had were prepared fresh and were delicious. Reasonable prices for what you get. Wish they were closer to where I live as I'd be a regular. If we're ever in that area again, I'd go back.

Oscars is the best!! Been going here for years!! Their fish and chips is delicious and the fries are always so crisp!!! Clam chowder is famous for a reason -- and I don't even like clams lol. Try it!! It will be your newest addiction!!
Thanks Mo. for leading me to Oscar's!! I have been a few times for pickup now and it's consistently amazing food and service! The broiled salmon plate is what brought me here. The seafood salad is the most amazing pasta salad I've ever had in life!! Ugh it's so good and filled generously with shrimp, crab, scallops, so good!! The broiled salmon is cooked and seasoned to perfection and the veggies are so good! The catfish filet and fried shrimps are huge portions and quality food. The customer service has been so friendly as well. I'll be back soon for another delicious meal!
A great place for excellent quality food and a relaxed atmosphere with wonderfully helpful service. The fried cod, fried jumbo shrimp, and clam strips were very good. Service was outstanding: fast, friendly, courteous and helpful!
Continued perfectly crispy succulent food with friendly staff and an expanded seating area The place has grown since I last was here, it's the same quality food but they doubled the size of the inside so there is more seating! Yay! I have added some pics. see previous review for most items Cod Cake is good flavored but it's not as good as a crab cake, I'd just skip it and go for a fried piece of other fish. Catfish is the most succulent. The Calamari is quite good as well, super juicy.
